MS CMPE Program Requirements

To meet the requirements for the MS in Computer Engineering, a student must complete at least 30 units of 200-level courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. No undergraduate course counts towards the master's degree until approved by the graduate advisor. Either Plan A (with thesis) or Plan B (without thesis, project or course-only) may be chosen.

Students entranced before Fall 2009

• Specialization Core (minimum 9 units from a selected specialization)
• Technical Electives (minimum 9 units)
• Internships (optional)
• Projects (6 units)/thesis (6 units)/Comprehensive exam (1 unit)
